This is a set of four stainless steel bolts, lock washers and flat washers to replace the studs used that secure the Y-pipe to the exhaust manifold on Ford 5.4liter and 6.8liter engines. These engines are notorious for needing the exhaust manifolds and hardware replaced. Why use steel hardware that is just going to rust again? It is always a good idea to use anti-seize on an application like this, it can be found in any good auto parts store.
NOTE: For clarification, these are meant to secure the Y-PIPE to the exhaust manifold. Each manifoild requires two bolts, so this kit will do both manifolds.
IMPORTANT NOTE: THESE WILL ONLY WORK ON MANIFOLDS WITH THROUGH HOLES (like the factory manifold pictured above), IF YOU ARE USING AN AFTERMARKET MANIFOLD THAT HAS BLIND HOLES, THESE WILL NOT WORK! THESE BOLTS NEED TO BE ABLE TO THREAD ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE MANIFOLD AND OUT THE OTHER SIDE OF THE HOLE.
